Real Estate Professional in Maui, Hawaii United States
HI License RB-21623
Born and raised in Upcountry, Maui, Mino empowers buyers and sellers to make impactful, meaningful, informed decisions that enrich their lives for the better. A neighbor, a mother—a community member—Mino approaches each client with integrity and a sense of honesty that’s born from working in a place she’s always called home.
Licensed in Hawaii since 2001, Mino specializes in Upcountry and North Shore—two parts of Maui with magical qualities, where the process of buying or selling a home should be just as personalized, welcoming, and special as the communities in which they’re located.
Her first foray into real estate was serving as assistant to a real estate developer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Helping to market Hawaii-based properties for California clientele, even though Mino was selling Hawaii, it wasn’t the same as being there, and her island roots (and the Bay Area traffic) quickly told her it was time to go home.
After a brief stint working O‘ahu-based projects, Mino began selling homes here on Maui and joined the Island Sotheby’s team in 2007. Her tireless commitment to buyers and sellers means that even when she first saw a listing for the home she now owns in Kula, her desire to match a prospective buyer overshadowed the thought that maybe the home might be perfect for somebody else—her. It wasn’t until she toured the home that she realized, unexpectedly, it had everything she needed, and in a rare twist of fate she didn’t have any buyers who were currently looking in that market.
It was a feeling of clarity, of ambition, and chance, and a feeling she seeks to help her clients find, where they not only realize that this is “the one,” but they have the insight, professionalism, and experience of someone who can help them in taking that dream and turning it into reality.
She now raises two daughters in that same, Kula home, and can empathize with, mentor, and guide Maui clients through a home-buying journey she’s experienced firsthand.
When not writing contracts, touring new properties, or matching up buyers with seller, Mino enjoys hiking, playing pickleball (she is slightly addicted) and tennis, and serves on the Hawaii Advisory Board for Trust For Public Land.
Mino and Sam bring a wealth of knowledge and full service to their clients, their top priority is making the buying and selling process as smooth as possible.
